Abstract
- The article presents a study that assesses the effect of a program of HIV counseling and testing on the sexual risk behavior of steady heterosexual serodiscordant couples. It states that 564 couples that had attended had participated in counseling and testing of HIV in Madrid, Spain from 1989 to 2007. It notes that data including sociodemographic, epidemiologic, and behaviors are obtained. It concludes that diagnosis and counseling reduces sexual risk behaviors.
