HIV/AIDS in Cuba: lessons and challenges.

Abstract: The article discusses the move by the Cuban government to achieve public health on HIV/AIDS pandemic. The United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) notes that the country has sexually-active adult infection rate and antiretrovitral drug and second highest rate of HIV infection. Cuban government has initiated health promotion on HIV education in schools, television programs and sexual diversity campaigns.
