Mysterious Tibet.

The article presents a social, political and economic background on the Tibet Autonomous Region. A geographic description of Tibet is presented. The Tibetan people has suffered from cruel serfdom under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, which has ended in 1959 when a wide democratic reform was conducted. Since the Tibetan people, from the panhandlers to herdsman, overthrew the theocratic regime, they have all become the masters of their land. The reform also resulted in infrastructure projects, laying a solid foundation for its progress.
