Abstract
- The article focuses on the debate on the implementation of personal safety records (PSRs) for workers in the construction industry. Peter Lupo, director of safety for T.B. Penick & Sons Inc., earlier suggested the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration create and maintain PSRs for workers, listing safety infractions, incidents and accidents. Aside from record keeping, issues such as whether a safe worker receive a higher wage rate as opposed to a worker dunned for poor safety practices, are noted.
