Mass Digitization for Research and Study: The Digitization Strategy of the Bavarian State Library.

Information about several topics discussed at the World Library and Information Congress: 74th International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA) General Conference and Council in Quebec on August 10-14, 2008 is presented. Topics include the reliability and efficacy of digitization of the information resources at the Bavarian State Library in Munich, Germany in providing the public with quality information. The advantages of digital libraries are also presented in the conference.
