Abstract: The article reports on the move of Frederick County Commission in voting for the revival of the project that would allow the construction of an incinerator near the Monocacy National Battlefield in Maryland. It notes that the commissioners has suspended the 527 million dollars worth of project due to widespread opposition. The decision has led preservationists to assume that it had been effectively killed.
