Abstract
- The article focuses on the importance of safety in the workplace and the efforts of employers to conduct safety meetings to encourage their employees to work safely. It highlights the concept of a secondary training system which focuses on working at safety rather than working safely. The author notes that working at safety is most effective because of the inherent value realized in the application of such principles. The benefits of working at safety includes active engagement among employees in structured and unstructured risk assessment.
