Abstract
- The article discusses the applications of mathematical lens. Being cited are the questions that assume cylinders and cones do not include the interior points. The author cites a solution saying that if the radius of a cylinder is one, and the angle of inclination of the plane that intersects is 45 degrees, it is important then to find the equation of the intersection. It is also important to generalize the equation for a cylinder having the radius and angle of inclination. Hence, the author emphasizes the significance of describing the changes in the elliptical cross section of a cylinder as the intersecting plane more vertical.
