Large retroperitoneal schwannoma mimicking ovarian carcinoma: case report and literature review.

The article presents a case study of a 25-year-old nulligravid woman complaining with right flank pain, abdominal distension and pollakiuria. On physical examination, a palpable abdominal mass expanding to umbilicus from pelvis was discovered. Microscopic examination showed a Verocay body with Antoni type A and type B tissue, and the tumor was distinguished as a cystic degenerative schwannoma.
