Abstract

The article presents a study which proposes a method to identify where military training and testing of particulate matter (PM) emissions can be conducted with minimal impact on residential development. It considers how complaints from projected civilian residential developments concerning military PM emissions hinder the sustainability of military training and testing activities. Thus, the proposed predictive method measures the level of future human annoyance caused by military PM sources.
