Abstract
- The article presents a case study related to macular haemorrhage. The case study pertains to a 26-year-old female presented with a small area of visual distortion in her right eye for two days. Patient told that she had ridden on roller coasters. Amsler grid showed a small area of metamorphopsia inferior nasal to fixation in the right eye. The study reveals that repetitive, rapid, multidimensional accelerations may cause mechanical disruption of a macular vessel.
