Abstract: An encyclopedia entry for "sports" is presented. It notes that people suffering from epilepsy are encouraged to be active in sports. It asserted that participation in sporting events should be customized for an individual in order to maximize its benefits. On the other hand, hyperventilation may trigger seizures.
