Abstract: Chapter 17 of the book "Medical Care of Cancer Patients" is presented. It explores the different infections caused by various viruses which are considered common complications among the patients with cancer especially those who have undergone hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). It discusses the clinical manifestations, diagnosis, therapy and prevention for various cases.
