Abstract
- The article provides information on the medicinal herb Dong Quai or Angelica sinensis. It notes that the plant is native to China, Japan and Korea and is used to correct menstrual disorders and manage menopausal symptoms under traditional Chinese medicine. The plant is said to have caused adverse reactions including bloating, loss of appetite and diarrhea. It states that patients with hormone-sensitive cancers should refrain from using the herb.
