ARTRITA PSORIAZICĂ SEVERĂ CU COXITĂ BILATERALĂ INVALIDANTĂ, TRATATĂ CU ETANERCEPT.

Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is an inflammatory joint disorder associated with psoriasis, which belongs to the group of seronegative spondylarthropaties. We present a case of a young patient with erosive arthritis and invalidant bilateral coxitis nonresponsive to disease modifying antirheumaic drugs (DMARDs) successfully treated etanercept. The patient presented almost all negative prognostic known factors (young age, HLA-B27, polyarticular involvement etc.). Over expression of tumor necrosis factor a (TNFa) in synovial biopsy removed in the course of the surgical treatment is a reliable indicator for a good response to biological treatment anti-TNFα.
