Abstract
- The article presents the author's insights on the implications of the re-election of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as president of Iraq. It asserts that the supporters of presidential candidate Mir Hussein Moussavi strongly opposed his re-election as shown by their protest in Azadi Square, Teheran on June 15, 2009. It reveals that the political trip of Ahmadinejad was cancelled due to increase pressure brought by his re-election. It also notes the impact of the re-election to the foreign relation of Iran.
