Abstract: This article explains that the news in June 2009 that Kodak will stop manufacturing Kodachrome film was expected and should have not surprised anyone. However, the end of the Kodachrome film should not be lost to the history of photography as this brand of film has been in use since 1935. It discusses the techniques developed by photographers to make the best photographs using the Kodachrome film. This technology will be missed by many who developed affinity to this medium.
