Abstract

The article presents comments on the paper "Free transverse vibration of the fluid-conveying single-walled carbon nanotube using nonlocal elastic theory." It states that there are inconsistencies in applied forces and the handling of the governing equations. It presents mathematical models showing the governing differential equation of motion for free vibration of fluid-conveying tubes to examine transverse deflection and shear force on the cross section.
