Abstract

Demonstrates a bistable self-electro-optic device (SEED) using Franz-Keldysh effects in an asymmetric Fabry-Perot optical modulator device. Observation on the contrast and reflectivity characteristics by the modulator; Provision of negative differential responsivity for SEED operation; Description of the photodetector used.
