Abstract: The article focuses on the dangers of obesity in horses and ponies. Josh Slater of Royal Veterinary College in London, England says that animal owners are unaware of nutritional as well as physiological aspects of obesity in equines. Moreover, David Watson asserts on the lack the knowledge on effect of overfeeding among owners and cites the problem in discussing obesity among them. He asserts on the specific responsibility of media, nurses, pet food industries, and owners on resolving obesity.
