Abstract

Investigates the effect of heat stress on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced febrile response in D-galactosamine-sensitized rats. Blunting of febrile response to LPS; Decline of temperature in heat conditioned rats treated initially treated with D-galactosamine then with LPS; Inhibition of heat shock protein-70 in the liver; Increase of tumor necrosis factor-alpha.
