Abstract

Studies the extended Jahn-Teller model using a time-dependent wave packet approach to see symmetry effects on scattering processes. Symmetry of nuclear wave function due to conical intersections between Born-Oppenheimer potential energy surfaces; Introduction of a vector potential in nuclear Hamiltonian; Incorporation of a phase factor in nuclear wave function.
