A tradition of access.

The article discusses the conceptualization of a diversity news index to be used at Morris Library Special Collections Research Center at Southern Illinois University in Carbonade, Illinois. The concept of Morris would employ the CONTENTdm digital collection management software from Online Computer Library Center Inc. (OCLC). The software is used by various libraries to perform several tasks like migrating and hosting digitized archival collections. The development of Morris's idea involved its relevance to the campus and community, the software for online delivery and student hours, and number of diversity-related materials.
