One 'Wiz,' Two Stars.

The coming Encores! Summer Stars production of ''The Wiz'' at New York City Center has added one more name to its cast: Colman Domingo, a star of Broadway's ''Passing Strange,'' will play the title character for its final six shows, from June 29 through July 5. Orlando Jones, who will play the role for the first two weeks of the production, is to leave the show early to work on a television series, City Center said. ''The Wiz,'' which also stars Ashanti, Dawnn Lewis and LaChanze, is scheduled to begin performances on Friday, with an official opening of June 18.
