A Paper God.

The article explores the causes of the 2008-2009 global financial crisis and focuses on the moral, ethical, and religious repercussions of consumerism and greed. Idolatry involving the financial markets and the effects of speculation on environmental degradation are also discussed. The author proposes that consumers, banks, and other financial and governmental institutions behave fairly and responsibly while promoting equity and sustainability.
