Abstract

The article examines 99 cases of feline exposure to neem or margosa oil from the reports of the Veterinary Poisons Information Services (VPIS) in London, England. It cites several common clinical signs in the report including lethargy, hypersalivation, and convulsions. The article discusses the correlation between the clinical signs of neem oil toxicity and poisoning by the insecticide permethrin, found in spot-on treatments for dogs.
