Abstract: The article focuses on the plan of a British Conservative government to prioritize the reversal of the decline in agricultural production cited by shadow agriculture minister Jim Paice at the Devon County Show in England on May 21, 2009. He cited addressing tuberculosis and disease cost sharing as other agenda of the party. Paice added that radical plans to tackle rural housing shortage are being proposed by the Tories. He also cited the need to provide for retiring tenant farmers.
