Abstract

The article focuses on a method that can use an in situ redox reaction between the reductive titanium oxide support and metal salt precursors in aqueous solution to grow noble metal particles on titania. According to the authors, the method does not require extra reducing agent and can be operated under mild conditions. They concluded that the method can introduce a new approach to prepare metal supported composites.
