Abstract
- The article discusses the initiative of some U.S. companies to offer wellness programs intended for their employees to help them manage their health and to lessen costs of employee insurance. It cites that wellness program initiatives provide a return on investment including a decrease of workers' compensation rates. Wellness programs would also encourage employees to work safer and prevent work injuries.
