The article commends Los Angeles, California Superior Court Judge Victoria Chaney for dismissing two lawsuits against Dole Food and other companies. The case against Dole involved banana plantation workers in Nicaragua who alleged that exposure to the pesticide DBPC in the 1970s left them sterile. Judge Chaney dismissed the claims and even said that the cases against Dole were a collution between prosecutors and plaintiffs. Chaney's decision to refer plaintiff lawyer Juan Dominguez for investigation is good for justice.
