Abstract
- The article discusses a conference that was held by the American Educational Research Association and a paper that was presented there by college teacher Kevin J. Dougherty and doctoral student Rebecca S. Natow, both of Columbia University. The paper addressed using performance of state colleges and universities as a way for such schools to receive more funding from their respective states. Such systems have been tried in 26 states but they are only used in 14 states to one extent or another.
