Abstract: Presents an undergraduate cyclic voltammetry inorganic chemistry experiment on monitoring of isomerization of trans- to cis-[RuCl2(dppb)(phen)]. Calculation of half-wave potentials from experimental oxidation and reduction waves; Conversion of kinetic trans product to a more thermodynamically stable cis product via thermochemical nonreversible pathway.
