Abstract
- The article focuses on the effort of Babcock & Wilcox (B&W) to look for a pulp and paper firm willing to install a reheat recovery boiler that could turn the manufacturing facility from a power consumer into a power generator. According to B&W, the reheat recovery boiler can reduce overall electricity purchases and can produce a new revenue stream as a net energy producer. B&W also reveals that a new boiler, precipitators, evaporator modules and turbine are needed for the installation of a heat recovery.
