Abstract

Reports on a conference of the Radiological Society of North America in November, 2000. Technology which allows radiologist to digitally create three-dimensional images of body areas; Proposal that medical images can be sent via the Internet in a reliable and inexpensive fashion; Outcome of a study which indicated that family members of men being treated for prostate cancer with brachytherapy are exposed to safe levels of radiation from the men.
