Abstract
- Information about several papers discussed at a symposium on the development of radar technology for weather surveillance is presented. Topics include the efforts key to a successful multifunction phased array radar (MPAR) risk-reduction plan, the future Federal Aviation Administration challenges, and the mission requirements for aircraft detection. The symposium featured several leaders from different agencies including Mary Glackin, Victoria Cox and Randel Zeller.
