Abstract
- The article discusses market reaction to stress tests administered to the nation's 19 largest banks by the U.S. government. Shortly after the tests were announced in February, 2009, the Dow Jones Industrial Average hit lows not seen in 11 years. Since then share prices have recovered as investors have come to realize none of the banks being tested would fail.
