Abstract

The article examines the influence of crop rotation and tillage on yield of peanut and occurrence of brown root rot caused by Fusarium solani in Argentina. A field experiment was conducted in the heavily infested area from 2001-2002 to 2005-2006 cropping seasons. Crop rotation included corn, peanut, and soybean. A stratified random sampling was used to evaluate the disease incidence. Results show that tillages and crop rotations can influence peanut brown rot caused by F. solani and crop yield.
