Abstract: Presents an approach for conducting pathogenesis of mosaic diseases based on patterns of Cre recombinase protein expression in intestinal epithelium and laser capture microdissection. Utilization of transcriptional regulatory elements that direct region-specific and mosaic patterns; Method for retrieval of epithelial cells from crypts with or without recombination.
