Reaction of LSrN(SiMe3)2(thf) 1(L = CH(CMe-2,6-i-Pr2C6H3N)2) with Me3SnF and LAlCl(Me), respectively, gave the first example of a strontium mono fluoride complex [LSr(thf)(μ-F)2Sr(thf)2L] 2and the corresponding chloride derivative [LSr(thf)(μ-Cl)2Sr(thf)2L] 3. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
