Abstract
- An essay on the Northeastern Blueberry Company's farm in Washington County, Maine is presented. It describes how the unemployed Angus Labrador approached Goo Goo's camp to apply and work at the blueberry barrens. Also discussed is the background of the company, which is owned by the Passamaquoddy tribe of Native Americans and which management involves harvesting crops through hand-raking and prefers employing Native Americans and Native Canadians. Photographs by Landon Nordeman.
