Preface to the Special Issue on Selected Papers from the Second International Conference on Semiconductor Photochemistry SP-2.

Information about the Second International Conference on Semiconductor Photochemistry which was held in Aberdeen, Scotland on July 23-25, 2007 is presented. The conference attracted 200 participants from 34 nations. The topic of the conference was semiconductor photochemistry, particularly with respect to studies utilising titanium dioxide.
