GENEZA „PRZEGLADU PEDIATRYCZNEGO” I SEKCJI PEDIATRYCZNEJ ŁÓDZKIEGO TOWARZYSTWA LEKARSKIEGO.

The Paediatric Section of the Lodz Medical Society was established a hundred years ago (in 1908 r.) in Lodz as the first paediatricians association on Polish territory. The section begun to publish the "Paediatric Review" - the first polish periodical dedicated only to children's health and diseases. Foundation of the paediatric section and "Paediatric review" publication were the result of the overall economic-social circumstances and the level of health care that was formed within the conditions of dynamic urbanization and industrialization of the city of Lodz.
