Abstract

The article focuses on a medical case involving a 25-year-old man observed to have diminished breath sounds on the left side of the chest. The patient undergone muscle-sparing anterolateral thoracotomy to remove the giant bulla occupying the left hemithorax and part of the right side. Calcifications in the wall of the bulla was observed, which was associated with the development of lung cancer and other respiratory diseases.
