- The article reports that the U.S. photo industry is hoping that the new camera technology will help it survive in the coming year. The bankruptcy filing of photo speciality chain Ritz Camera indicates declining revenues and would continue to impact more businesses within the industry. Despite the weak economy, digital camera makers continue to launch high-end camera models during the Photo Marketing Association (PMA) show.
