Abstract: The article reports on the increasing importance of environmental credentials in contract negotiations for information and communication technology (ICT) in Australia. Lawyer Dudley Kneller said that the transfer in the ICT market towards environmental-friendly products and services is already having a great impact on customer procurement behavior. He added that businesses create more carbon emissions from ICT use and green considerations are now essential to ICT purchasing decisions.
