Abstract: Urban Landscape Archaeology. Relations among archaeology, urban geography and architecture, defined as urban landscape archaeology, are emphasized in this article. Archaeological investigations in Paranapanema river basin, called Paranapanema Project, São Paulo State, reinforce this interdisciplinary approach as a example of the archaeology of an urban environment of a town in south-eastern Brazil.
