Abstract

The article critiques U.S. President Barack Obama from a conservative point of view. Of particular note is the content of Obama's speeches, which made him seem like a moderate candidate, versus the reality of his voting record as a U.S. Senator, which was clearly liberal in focus. Also of note are the tax increases that are part of Obama's national budget plan and how it would increase the national deficit by $7 trillion over the course of ten years.
