Education hub at a crossroads: The development of quality assurance as a competitive tool for Singapore's private tertiary education.

The article presents a paper which aims to study the development and effectiveness of quality assurance as a competitive tool for Singapore's private tertiary education in a growingly competitive global market. It notes the importance of quality assurance in private tertiary education in Singapore in order for the country to compete effectively and maintain its current objective of becoming educational hub. The study found that quality assurance in Singapore's private tertiary education is insufficient. It suggests that Singapore needs to re-evaluate its quality assurance framework in order to earn its vision of becoming a regional educational hub.
