Abstract

An interview with David Pickard, general director of the Glyndebourne Festival Opera in London, England, is presented. When asked whether both the operas "Figaro" and "Betrothal in a Monastery," that were recorded by John Barnes were part of a long-term release schedule, he said that they have an archive of recordings made by Barnes over a long period of time. He added that the music "Elder Fidelio" and "Gui Pelléas," will be the next releases.
