Abstract
- The article discusses computation techniques at the organic-inorganic interface in biomineralization. The mineralization process is controlled by an insoluble organic matrix, usually containing macromolecules, glycans and polysaccharides. The article discusses the use of quantum mechanics and molecular mechanics to study biomineralization at the organic-inorganic interface.
